"Garden State"

I was watching the movie "Garden State" and for some reasons it brought back to memory "American beauty". Probably because of the contemporary and coming-of-age feel it infused in the beginning. Thankfully it also steered clear of becoming a disjointed-serious-heavy movie. And towards the end it toed the lines of daily run-of-the-mill romance dishes.
The movie was good on the whole and the dialogues seem to have been really written well.
