Bronx Zoo

After some futile efforts at planning a camping-cum-rafting trip for the July 4 long weekend, I took off tangentially and happened to visit, on a sweltering hot day, the famed Bronx Zoo, NYC.

Nestled in the midst of the bustling uptown Manhattan, Bronx Zoo, for sure is a place to visit with family. It's not too big. A lil effort at working out the logistics with the map of the zoo, the skyfari ride, the Asian monorail loop and the shuttle should do good in the covering all the attractions in a day.
