The wheel of fashion

One thing that never stops is the wheel of fashion. The bell-bottoms, the likes of which Rajnikant and Chiranjeevi wore in the 70's, is nudging its way in. Add to it the tight shirts, flappy collors, long cuffs etc. The parallels, pleated-baggies and short-collors seem to be losing their grip on the wheel of fashion, which goes a full cycle nearly every decade. It's a tad embarassing to imagine myself in airy-bottomed, flat-fronted tight pants revealing my silhouette in broad day light. Looks like, its time I let go of the wheel as most people do as they age.

It's a hard decision as we get older--to be fashionable, but ridiculous or to be frumpy, but safe.
